How Researchers Celebrate It

Today might be a very special day for some people, while it’s just an ordinary day for me. This contradiction always pops up every year because some people are really putting so much effort to make others ignore their special day. On the other hand, celebration always keeps on going.

I’m not celebrating it, neither against it. This might be a good example to show what’s on my mind. You know something, you search for the evidence, you work on it, you report it, that’s what researchers do, right? And researchers are not policy makers, they shouldn’t drag people into their opinion. Also, researchers do not close their eyes neither pretend to not knowing what’s going on.

Being neutral is not a bad idea, I guess.
